Pageant Qualifications                                          

1. All contestants must have at least 25% Hispanic background in order to compete in the Connecticut Latina United States Pageant.

2. Contestants may represent the country of their heritage.  If the title is not available, he or she may represent the city where he or she resides.

3. Requirements for each division are as follows:

• Little Miss and Mr. - open to children 6 to 10 yrs. old
• Teen Division - is open to any female between the ages of 13 to 17.  Contestants in this division must not be married or have children. 
• Ms. Division - Latinas 18 to 26 years old
• Mujer Division - Latinas 27 and older
• Mr. Division - Latinos 16 to 38 years old

* Contestants in the Ms. and Mujer may be married, single, divorced and may have children.

Levels of Competition:

1. Personal interview - Each delegate will have a personal interview with pageant judges. 
2. Swimsuit - Contestants will compete in a black one piece conservative swimsuit of their choice.  NO bikinis, tankinis, or any two pieces will be allowed.  *Does not apply to Mujer or Mr. Teen, and Mr. category
3. Fashion Wear - The Little Miss, Mujer delegates and Little Mr., Mr. delegates will model fashion wear instead of swimsuits.
4. Evening Gown - Contestants will compete in a floor length gown of their choice. 
5. Formal Wear - Little Mr. and Mr. contestans will model a nice evening attire of their choice.
6. On-stage question - Delegates will answer a question on-stage for the judges.

Each section will be scored by point system - 1 through 5 (1 being the lowest score and 5 being the highest score) 

Other Points of Competition - During the pageant, none of the scores will be dropped.  Scores are cumulative throughout each phase of competition.

**All Pageant Fees are Non-Refundable**

During the pageant, we will be awarding side awards to pageant delegates.  The awards are as follows:

• Photogenic Award
• Congeniality Award
• Community Service Award
• CT Latina United States Spirit Award
