Pageant Rules & Regulations

Pageant Qualifications                                          

  1. All contestants must have at least 25% Hispanic background in order to compete in the Connecticut Latina United States Pageant.
  2. Contestants may represent the country of their heritage.  If the title is not available, he or she may represent the city where he or she resides.

  3. Requirements for each division are as follows:

  • Teen Division - is open to any female between the ages of 13 to 17.  Contestants in this division must not be married or have children. 
  • Ms. Division - Latinas 18 to 28 years old
  • Mr. Division - Latinos 16 to 38 years old

* Contestants in the Ms. and Mujer may be married, single, divorced and may have children.

Pageant Levels

Levels of Competition:

  1. Personal interview - Each delegate will have a personal interview with pageant judges. 
  2. Fashion Wear - Mr. delegates will model fashion wear
  3. Formal Wear - Mr. contestans will model a nice evening attire of their choice.
  4. On-stage question - Delegates will answer a question on-stage for the judges.

Each section will be scored by point system - 1 through 5 (1 being the lowest score and 5 being the highest score) 

Other Points of Competition - During the pageant, none of the scores will be dropped.  Scores are cumulative throughout each phase of competition.

Additional Awards to be given...

During the pageant, we will be awarding side awards to pageant delegates.  The awards are as follows:

  • Photogenic Award
  • Congeniality Award
  • Community Service Award
  • CT Latina United States Spirit Award
